Make These Chocolate Protein Waffles For Breakfast Tomorrow

Tired of eating overnight oats every single morning? Sugary cereal doesn't have to be your only other option. When you're craving something sweet and healthy for breakfast, try making these chocolate protein waffles. Add a scoop of chocolate-flavoured protein to your favorite waffle mix, and you'll have waffles ready in an instant.

PumpUp member @kat2120 makes these chocolate protein waffles to boost her energy levels throughout the day. "I just finished the Kayla Itsines BBG ab workout and I was craving something sweet, but healthy," she revealed. "I'm a big waffle lover, and anything with peanut butter and cacao nibs always sounds good to me."

Mix all the ingredients up in a flash, pour them into a waffle maker, and you'll be ready to go. Depending on your appetite (and on the size of your waffle maker), this recipe can make enough waffles for multiple breakfasts. Refrigerate (or even freeze) the leftovers and reheat them in a toaster oven when you're ready to eat them. If you follow a plant-based diet, substitute the egg in this recipe for a flax egg and use the milk of your choice - anything from almond milk to rice milk.
