Hey #TeamPumpUp! This #TransformationTuesday we’re catching up with PumpUp member @erinjlane. Just over a year ago, we featured Erin on our PumpUp blog. She shared her inspirational story of how she beat Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome for good, and embraced an active life to gain confidence and determination. Today, she’s an active member in the PumpUp community (you’ve most likely seen her killer weight-lifting posts), who motivates us to keep focused on our goals.
We chatted with Erin to learn more about her favorite PumpUp members, how she stays active in the community, and what keeps her driven. She has great perspective on the importance of balancing both physical and mental wellness, and exceptional insight on how to get the most out of the PumpUp community Get to know her better here!

Who are your top 3 favourite people to follow on PumpUp? What do you admire most about them?
@Limitlesstyle I LOVE her! She's so inspiring and is one of the nicest people I know! She's one of the people I go to on her when I'm feeling down and need some motivation oh and her body is INSANE!
@Becpeachy I have been following and speaking to Bec since I started Pump Up, her transformation is absolutely amazing and she is so down to earth and easy to speak too! Such an honest inspiring person!
@PumpUp of course! I love seeing everyone's stories and post that pump up share and it's a good way to find new people and of course I love some of the memes
What advice would you share with someone who’s looking to balance a busy schedule while staying motivated to reach their health goals?
My favourite quote to answer this is "Don't work for a company for 8 hours then go home and not work on your own goals.” You're not tired, you're uninspired. Always make time for your goals, you don't have to be crazy and go the gym three hours a day, just make time for your goals and dreams and everything else will fall in place.
What’s a new healthy habit you’re working on?
New habit I'm trying to work on is my mind. Sometimes I can be really negative about myself and really get down because I'm not where I need to be. I'm working on this by concentrating on my positives and my progress.
What’s your go-to quick breakfast?
I always make sure that in the mornings I eat a good amount of protein, carbs and fats. A cheese omelette or peanut butter on toast is my daily go-to. Then, after the gym then I always go for a quest protein bar.
What makes you feel the most confident?
I feel most confident when I can see my body changing! Oh and, of course, when I am glam!
What advice would you give to someone new to the PumpUp community?
Be true to who you are. Don't be comparing your journey to anyone else's and enjoy it!
Thanks Erin! Cheer on Erin in her fitness journey by following her @erinjlane on PumpUp!
