Sip on This Berry Bee Pollen Smoothie

The weather is really crazy in Shanghai. It's warm and sunny one day, but then it's cold and rainy on the next day. I recently got a nasty cold and decided to make a smoothie to prevent the next one. Bee Pollen is awesome for your immune system and it will definitely help you overcome a cold. If you have never tried Bee Pollen, make sure you try one or two pieces to test whether you get an allergic reaction to it.

Açai has a lot of antioxidants and Vitamin C - it will give your immune system the boost that it needs to fend off sickness. The strawberries in this recipe add flavour and complement the taste of the açai. Though they're what I'd consider to be my favourite berries, they are so expensive here in China (if you don't want strawberries grown in potentially toxic soil).

To make the smoothie, I blend the fruits first before adding in the Bee Pollen and Açai Powder. I add the coconut water last so that the powder really dissolves into the smoothie.

I hope that this Berry Bee Pollen smoothie will get you through this crazy weather!
